Mr. Satish (Sam) Manaktala
- Sam is an International Consultant to the aluminum industry with
extensive experience in China, Russia, India, USA, Eastern Europe, UK,
Africa and various other parts of the world.

He is a former Vice President of Kaiser Aluminum responsible for global technology sales and international business development.

He has extensive knowledge of the global aluminum industry in terms of technology, business development and business processes.

He has provided outsourcing support for all aspects of the aluminum industry including; bauxite, alumina, primary production and downstream fabrication.

He is a graduate of Birla Institute Of Technology & Science Pilani.

He worked as Vice President, Senior Vice President, Joint President and retired as Executive President of HINDALCO, a major aluminum producer in India.

Under his guidance HINDALCO executed a major strategic expansion plan to increase capacity from 24000 Tons to 350,000 Tons.

He is an expert in Conceptualization and Feasibility of Green Field Project, Sourcing of Technologies / Equipments, Budgeting & Risk Analysis.
- He is a Sr. Associate of AMIE since last 25 years.

He is a Light Metal Committee Member since last 20 years.
